Description

Reclaimed on a valley farm in West Virginia and restored in beautiful Tennessee by the Barnwood Builders in 2022, The Homestead was originally a mid-1800s dogtrot cabin with a breezeway that has been transformed into a lovely common area with mountain vistas, a stacked stone fireplace, a modern full kitchen, and a covered deck with a hot tub. Lovingly rebuilt after the 2016 Gatlinburg wildfires, this single-level, 2-bedroom cabin in Gatlinburg offers accommodations for up to 8 guests plus relaxing extras to make your family vacation, weekend with friends, holiday getaway, or spring break in the Smoky Mountains wonderful.

Unwind in the bubbling hot tub with soothing water jets while taking in the majestic mountain vistas. Sway in the rocking chairs with a glass of sweet tea, a cup of coffee, or a pour of wine. In fall and winter, enjoy the warmth of a gas log fire with a good book or a great friend. You can fire up the charcoal grill and dine at the outdoor table or fix meals in the fully equipped kitchen to dine inside at your log cabin in the Smokies.

On opposite sides of this 1,400-square-foot Gatlinburg cabin rental, you’ll find authentic hand-hewn logs of white oak with chinking and dovetail notching, which house the bedrooms and attached en-suite bathrooms. Accommodations for up to 8 guests include 2 king beds and 2 twin bunks. There are TVs in the bedrooms plus a big screen TV in the living room for added entertainment on your Gatlinburg vacation.

For more fun, head to nearby family-friendly attractions, shops, events, and eateries less than 4 miles from the Timber Ridge community! Sip Appalachian moonshine while chatting with friends in front of the gas fireplace. Gaze at passing clouds across the beautiful mountain landscape through the wall of windows. And for a nice modern touch, you’ll have a 65-inch ONN/Roku smart TV for entertainment anytime while lounging on the reclinable sofas.
