Spend days soaking up the views, spread out across 3,450 square feet of space, play games, relax, and enjoy the conveniences of home.
Newly built — with construction completed in October 2020 — Sunrise Over the Smokies is a fresh, new space for your vacation. On the lower level, the rec room/theater space has a big screen TV, Blu-ray player, pool table, arcade games, and a wet bar. The 6-person hot tub is accessible from this level, too, and it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
The primary bedroom on the entry level features deck access with relaxing rocking chairs and a propane firepit for romantic evenings beneath the stars. Bedrooms have their own TVs and include king beds in 3 bedrooms and 2 sets of twin-over-full bunk beds in the fourth bedroom — plus a queen sleeper sofa in the loft. Other amenities include a gas grill on the balcony just outside the dining area and kitchen, high-speed wireless internet, and a washer/dryer.
Living Room
Step into an open and inviting space when you walk through the front door. Windows stretch 2 stories high and frame gorgeous Smoky Mountain scenes. The stacked stone (gas) fireplace adds warmth to the space and harbors a big screen TV on the mantelpiece for entertainment in the living room. Seating is plush and welcomes guests to take a load off and relax in YOUR mountain cabin.
Pop open a bottle of bubbly or uncork a wine bottle from Tennessee Homemade Wines and sip and chat into the evening. Flip on the TV, cuddle on the sofa, and enjoy a show. At night, when everyone's gone to bed, slip away to read your favorite novel by a crackling fire. In the mornings, the living room is a coffee hotspot and is perfect for taking in the Sunrise Over the Smokies.
Kitchen
After playing in town or entertaining at the cabin, you’ll appreciate a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook tasty meals, grab snacks, and mix drinks anytime. Slate appliances (dishwasher included) pair well with stacked stone features, elegant cabinetry, and marble countertops. The breakfast bar seats 4, and counter space is plentiful.
Plus, you’ll have all the tools needed to prep and serve, including pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, and mugs. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and midnight munchies are curbed on the spot at this Gatlinburg cabin in the Smokies.
Dining Area
Just off the kitchen awaits the dining area that features a large wooden table with 8 matching chairs. Combining the bar seating for 4 just there, everyone will have a place to sit, eat, and chat together at mealtimes. After the last bite, hang around to chat and laugh some more or clear the space for board and card games. The table is also great as a work space if needed or a center for kid activities, like coloring, drawing, or crafting.
Rec Room + Theater Space
When you’re ready to have a blast at this cabin in Gatlinburg, head to the rec room that features a theater space, a wet bar, and games! Bring down the treats you bought in town from Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen along with bowls of theater-style popcorn for movie nights in the theater space. There’s a whopping big screen TV, a Blu-ray player, and luxury seating with drink holders.
Across the way, you’ll find a pool table with more scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains through large floor-to-ceiling windows. Mix cocktails and grab yummy snacks at the wet bar that has a mini-fridge, storage, and a sink. There’s also a barrel-style arcade unit with stools so you can play arcade games with a friend.

Riding mountain coasters, perusing The Village Shops, or ziplining through the trees can leave you tired and ready for bed in no time. At Sunrise Over the Smokies, you’ll have 4 bedrooms + a loft to curl up and go to sleep. Each bedroom features a flatscreen TV and a private bathroom for added comfort and convenience. There’s a mix of 3 king-size beds and 2 twin-over-full bunks in the bedrooms plus a queen-size sleeper sofa in the loft.
The primary suite boasts prime real estate on the entry level with direct access to the main deck space that harbors rocking chairs around a firepit with majestic mountain views for miles. "I stayed for a week and i loved it. The views outside were beautiful but the cabin inside was amazing. It had a kitchen with all the tools you would need. All the beds, bedsheets, and towels were clean along with the bathrooms and floors. Its a bit high up the mountain and the ramp to get to it is pretty steep but we got used to it. The location of the cabin was well centered between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would give it a overall a very good rating. I will definitely be staying with cabins for you in the future. I 100% recommend this cabin: Sunrise Over The Smokies"
