Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat boasts 4,000 square feet of space for your group, a location right on Douglas Lake with water views, the conveniences of home, and some fun vacation extras — including a dock on the seasonal lake, a fire pit, and a hot tub — to make your stay memorable.
Whip up meals for the group in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy eating together in the cabin at the dining table (or use it for homeschool, work, or games!), or relax in the rocking chairs on the deck after a fun day shopping and playing in downtown Pigeon Forge. After a big day on the lake, come back to the cabin to toss burgers and steaks on your gas grill; browse the cabin’s movie library to pop in the DVD or Blu-ray player; play arcade games, pool, shuffleboard, or ping pong; or just unwind and take advantage of the high speed Wi-Fi.
At night, climb into your private hot tub for a soothing soak in the bubbling waters or slip away to the primary suite for a spa bath in the garden tub. The gas fireplace inside is great for cozying up on cool mountain nights, and bedding includes 1 king bed, 4 queen beds, 1 queen bunk, 1 twin daybed with a trundle, and 1 queen sleeper. The cabin also has a washer/dryer that’s nice to have when you’re spending days on the water, hiking, or just playing in the Smokies all day. Enjoy easy roads to the cabin, parking for 7 vehicles, and room for a trailer.
Living Room
An open and welcoming space, the living room at this cabin on the water boasts high ceilings with plenty of natural light. Hardwood floors flow throughout, and the spacious area rug adds comfort to the room. The stacked stone (gas) fireplace is cozy in winter months and a perfect addition to your nighttime read or late night chat with a friend.
Plop on the sofa for a rest after your travels or afternoon play in the lake. There are also 2 recliners where you can kick back and relax anytime and watch entertainment on the big screen TV. There’s also a separate TV room nearby with views of the lake and a plush couch (doubles as a queen sleeper), ideal as a play space for the kids or a quiet spot to unwind.
Downstairs, you’ll find a second, quaint living room that boasts another big screen TV with a DVD and Blu-ray player. Browse the movie library and set out snacks and drinks on the coffee table for movie night or chill in the recliner with a glass of wine from the kitchenette nearby. Here you can also enjoy more views of the lake plus access to the lower level deck with a hot tub!
Kitchen
The main kitchen is open concept to the living and dining area and features everything from stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space to a porcelain double sink and a breakfast bar. Store fresh ingredients, whip up family recipes, bake Smoky Mountain treats, brew coffee anytime, and let the dishwasher help with cleanups.
Just off the second living space downstairs is the kitchenette that features a full-size fridge, a double sink, a microwave, and space to store snacks and drinks. It’s a convenient amenity so you don’t have to go all the way upstairs to the main kitchen when you want to grab a bite or a beverage.
Dining Area
The dining area at this Douglas Lake cabin is just off the kitchen and boasts views of the lake while you chat and dine. The natural-style wooden table has matching chairs and a bench. Combined with the kitchen bar stools and living room seating, everyone can chat and eat together. On nice days, open the door to the outdoor table and seating for memorable meals with nature.
Rec Room
Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat has turned its garage into a fully loaded rec room! Guests at this lake cabin will appreciate a separate space to let loose and just have fun. Play pinball, shoot pool or teach your kids shuffleboard. Adults can play at the poker table while the kiddos play ping pong or checkers.
There’s a big-screen TV in the rec room for added entertainment while you hang out together. And you can play cards, dabble with Megatouch touchscreen games, and down a few cold ones at the wall-mounted bar. The space also boasts foosball, a pool table, ping pong, a Golden Tee arcade cabinet, and a multicade. It’s an awesome space to make memories and spend quality time with family and friends.
Bedrooms
Splashing at the lake all day, racing NASCAR go-karts in town, or zorbing at Outdoor Gravity Park can leave you beat, which is why you’ll appreciate the bedroom accommodations at Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat! This 5-bedroom + loft cabin on the lake near Pigeon Forge offers a mix of 1 king-size bed, 4 queen-size beds, 1 queen-size bunk, 1 twin-size daybed with a trundle, and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in the home, sleeping up to 16 guests.
The primary suite boasts a large bathroom with a garden tub for soothing baths, Douglas Lake views, a media space with a big screen TV and chairs, plus the king-size bed. One of the queen bedrooms features a private balcony with rocking chairs and a table overlooking the lake and an en-suite bathroom. Another bedroom has a queen bed and bunk and leads straight into the garage rec room. And the suite downstairs with the second living space and kitchenette houses another queen bedroom.
Upstairs in the loft awaits the daybed, a desk, and phenomenal lake views. The TV room off the living area transforms into a sleeping space with the sleeper sofa. Each bedroom features a TV, and in total, there are 4 bathrooms in the home for added convenience during your stay on the lake.
Outdoor Spaces
Step into the great outdoors at Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat. There are 2 decks, a balcony, and a private dock right on Douglas Lake. View gorgeous scenes of the lake and surrounding trees from the main lounge area with cushioned seating and a breakfast table. Head down to the seasonal lake to splash, swim, fish, and play all day by the dock! And Don’t forget to bring all your water fun favorites, like jet skis, fishing boats, and canoes.
Up to 2 boats can fit at your private dock (6 feet deep at the front and about 15 feet deep at the end), and 2 jet skis can sit comfortably on the wave runner ramps at this lakeside cabin in Pigeon Forge. To launch, the boat ramp is only about 2 miles away. There's a ladder at the dock to get in and out of the water more easily, and you can even take your boat to lakeside restaurants! When the lake is at its highest, you can find a 65-foot-deep cove nearby and more coves around the lake worth exploring.
Fire up the gas grill for fun family cookouts by the water. Downstairs, soak in the steamy hot tub with massaging jets or sway on the porch swing with a friend while watching the ripples in the water. You can head to the firepit to roast marshmallows and swap cool stories in the evenings. The balcony features rockers, a porch swing, and a table with prime views of the lake.
When you want to venture into town, the flat, gravel driveway boasts parking for 7 with room for a trailer, and roads to and from this semi-private cabin are flat and paved for easier travel into downtown Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

Weather, precipitation levels, TVA power needs, and other factors cause fluctuations in lake levels throughout the year - particularly from September to early May. Cabins for YOU, Vacations for YOU, and the individual property owners are not responsible for lake conditions and levels or their effects on docks and recreational activities such as swimming, boating, or fishing.
Other Amenities
Provided at Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat is a washer/dryer to reuse towels and toss in loads as needed after swims, hikes, and horseback rides. High-speed Wi-Fi is available and complimentary so guests can hop online anytime on vacation in the Smokies.

Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!

We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.

Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.
Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
