Living Room
The open floorplan of Close to Heaven makes it easy to relax as a group after your Pigeon Forge adventures on the Parkway or in the nearby national park. A large, full-size couch will comfortably accommodate 2 to 3 guests, and other seating includes a cushy glider, 2 padded rocking chairs, a padded log-style bench, and backless bench set against the wall that doubles as a coffee table. Turn on your big screen TV, pop in a Blu-ray or DVD, and plan for a fun and cozy movie night in the Smokies.
In the winter, turn on your gas fireplace for extra comfort and warmth, and in the fall, enjoy gorgeous views of the changing Smoky Mountain trees right outside your living room windows. Close to Heaven’s living room is convenient for any kind of group activity you have planned—a gift exchange, a Sunday afternoon spent watching the big game, or a family game night with board games and cards.
Kitchen
The L-shaped kitchen inside Close to Heaven is just the right size for your 6-person crew. If you’re planning to save a little money and cook in, you should find all the equipment you need inside this cabin, including all your major appliances in black and white and countertop essentials like a toaster, an electric can opener, and a knife set. Close to Heaven also provides a coffeemaker so you don’t have to miss out on your morning fix!
When the weather is cool, take your fresh-brewed cup of coffee onto the back porch for a peaceful Smoky Mountain morning; then head back inside for a yummy breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, and bacon—all of which you can easily prepare inside Close to Heaven. Simply stop by the grocery store and local markets like the general store at the Old Mill Square for all your favorite goodies.
Dining Room
Although Pigeon Forge has a wide variety of downtown restaurants to satisfy every craving, dining in the privacy of your Pigeon Forge cabin with only your group is a great way to spend time together and enjoy your favorite home-cooked meals without waiting in lines or blowing your vacation budget. Inside Close to Heaven, enjoy a 4-piece dining set that’s conveniently located next to the kitchen. You can use this table to share a meal or to display your homemade spread before taking your plates to the large, open-concept living room. And don’t forget that Close to Heaven’s dining room table can also function as a game table or card table for family fun!
Game Room
From downtown arcades to mountain coasters to comedy shows, Pigeon Forge boasts plenty of options for small group fun. But when you book your stay at Close to Heaven, the only place you have to go to find hours of family fun is down the stairs, where you’ll find this cabin’s game room!
Equipped with a full-size pool table and stereo, Close to Heaven’s game room is a great place to retreat on a rainy day or to hang out when you’re fighting sleep and looking for some late-night fun. A pool tournament with the family can make for Smoky Mountain memories you’ll talk about for years, and this room has plenty of space and seating for nearly everyone to sit down and relax between shots thanks to its 4 stools, padded bench, and small table.
Bedrooms
Close to Heaven provides 2 cozy bedrooms, both of which offer king-size beds, flatscreen TVs, and their own bathrooms. The primary bedroom of Close to Heaven is spacious, with vaulted ceilings and windows overlooking the Smoky Mountain trees. Enjoy a log-style bedframe along with a ceiling fan, reading lamps, and nightstands.
The second bedroom is almost as spacious, with vaulted ceilings, windows with tree-studded views, a ceiling fan, reading lamps, and nightstands. You won’t find much difference between the 2 bedrooms except the style of the comforter, so each couple can take their pick and share the same amount of bedtime comfort inside this Pigeon Forge cabin. For extra guests, take advantage of Close to Heaven’s sleeper, bringing the total number of guests accommodated by this cabin to 6.
Outdoor Spaces
One of the most popular seasons to visit Pigeon Forge is undoubtedly the fall, when the leaves are changing on the Smoky Mountain trees. At Close to Heaven, you’ll have a front row view of this stunning scenery with your back porch that overlooks the wooded hills of the Smokies.
Enjoy these views from your covered rocking chair porch with a ceiling fan overhead. This porch also supplies a sturdy wooden bench for resting your mugs of coffee in the morning or your glasses of sweet iced tea—a Southern staple—in the afternoon. On another deck level, Close to Heaven provides a small picnic table, additional outdoor seating, and an outdoor hot tub! Be sure to pack your bathing suit so you can make the most of your stay at Close to Heaven.
