I am sure you remember the first time you experienced the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains or the time you went to the Grand Canyon. Why not tell a story and relive the wonderful experience for other people? Did you take a trip to Yellowstone National Park? Or maybe you have been to Cades Cove and experience wildlife up close and personal? Visit Gatlinburg Tennessee in June and you can share your story as you relive the fun memories.
The Oh, Ranger! Story Tour is coming to Gatlinburg. Sponsored by Hyundai, this is the first year of new importance in public awareness and farther steps in education about national parks. The Oh, Ranger! Story Tour travels around the United States to different National Park Service sites. The Oh, Ranger! Story Tour is hoping that these stories will help educate future visitors about how to protect these very historic places.
The Oh, Ranger! Story Tour will be stopping in Gatlinburg from June 5 through June 9 at the NOC’s Great Outpost. During these days you can stop by to share your favorite national park story. These videos can be submitted through this location or online throughout the entire year and they will be saved in searchable database. As the major sponsor, Hyundai has pledged a donation to the National Parks Conservation Association of $25 for each story submitted.
The Oh, Ranger! Story Tour is a great way to get your story out about your favorite national parks while also assisting, in a small way, in the preservation of these parks. Go ahead and get your vacation to Gatlinburg Tennessee planned for those dates in June.
