A fun little event brought to you by Gatlinburg is the Festival of Trees. This year it will be held between November 23-27. If Christmas is your favorite season then event will surely bring a smile to your face.
Sights, sounds and smells of Christmas will envelope you as you enter the Convention Center. Who said Christmas can’t come early? At the Gatlinburg Convention Center many, many Christmas trees will be decorated and displayed for your enjoyment. There will be a gingerbread house contest. Make sure to see these unique houses! Best one wins a prize.
As if that wouldn’t be fun enough the event directors have a creative idea to really get you in the Christmas mood. They have made huge “presents” that you can put on. Pick out your favorite tree, grab a decorated box and take a picture to remember this venture. This is a sure hit with the kids.
While the Festival of Trees is a free event visitors can feel free to make donations for the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries. It’s fun and it’s for a good cause.
