The game loft upstairs has arcade games, there are king and queen beds in the bedrooms, the back deck features a hot tub, and the Shagbark Resort offers access to community amenities such as tennis and basketball courts, cornhole, disc golf, picnic areas, a community swimming pool, and more. You’ll also have Wi-Fi and keyless entry for self check-in.
Living Room
As you step inside to start your Pigeon Forge vacation, you’ll be welcomed by a lodge-like living room with wood interiors, leather furniture, a TV, and a fireplace. Unwind on the sofa, sit back in the chairs, cozy up by the fireplace, and flip on the TV to relax. There is also a window at the top of the wall, letting in lots of natural light on sunny days.
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted for drinks, snacks, and meals. Warm wood cabinets pair with quartz countertops, giving the space a comfortable yet refined feel. Bake cookies in the oven, simmer dinner on the electric stovetop, pop some popcorn in the microwave for movie night, use the kettle for tea, brew some coffee to start the day, or pop some bagels into the toaster.
Stop by the store on the way in to stock the refrigerator or freezer with drinks, frozen treats, and fresh ingredients. This full kitchen also has a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Whether you love to cook or just want a place to bring leftovers back from downtown restaurants, you’ll find what you need at this Smoky Mountain getaway.
Dining Area
The dining table in your vacation home is just off the kitchen, with space to seat up to 6 guests. Sit down for a big breakfast before hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, have pizza for lunch on a rainy day, or set the table for the holidays or dinner on a romantic getaway.
Bedrooms
The primary bedroom is located on the main floor and features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. A second bedroom features a queen-size bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom. These will be relaxing, welcoming spaces after busy days riding roller coasters at Dollywood, skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, meeting sea creatures at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, or checking out the art in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community.
Rec Room
The game room in the loft upstairs is the place to play! There are 2 arcade games here, including a driving game and a “Legends” game with a ton of classic games that will take you back in time! When you aren’t driving go karts, playing miniature golf, or having fun at unique attractions, come back to your Tennessee cabin to have some fun.
Outdoor Spaces
Breathe in the fresh mountain air, enjoy the wooded views, and listen to the sounds of nature from your nice outdoor spaces. Climb into the steaming hot tub for a soothing soak or sit in the chairs and unwind. For lunch or dinner, toss something on the gas grill for barbecues.
Community Amenities
Located within the gated (guarded 24 hours) community of Shagbark Resort, this Gatlinburg cabin boasts a great location with access to lots of community amenities. If you’re here for a family vacation, take advantage of the playground, climbing wall, and swings for kids. There is also a 6-hole disc golf course, picnic tables, cornhole, tennis and basketball courts, and a community pool.
Local Fun
This cozy cabin offers plenty of peace but is close to the restaurants, shops, and attractions along the Parkway. The Island in Pigeon Forge is about 20 minutes away, home to The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, boutique shops, dancing water fountains, celebrity-owned restaurants, and more. Dollywood is less than 13 miles away, and the beautiful hike to The Sinks waterfall in the Smokies is 17 miles away. It’s a little slice of heaven that’s convenient to it all!
Shop and dine in downtown Gatlinburg (17.5 miles away) or take a drive to a local favorite - Tuckaleechee Caverns (22 miles away). Wears Valley offers scenic drives (try to spot black bears) and a food truck park, Sevierville is home to the Tanger Outlets, and the heart of Pigeon Forge has many attractions to check out!

Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!

We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.

Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.
Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
