Description

Conveniently located in the Chalet Village community near the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Bear Hugs 1126 is a cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gatlinburg cabin rental with space for up to 6 guests, the conveniences of home, fun mountain touches, a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, and access to a great lineup of community amenities. You’ll have plenty to do in the cabin, but you’ll also be minutes from the ski slopes of Ober Gatlinburg and just 3 miles from the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg — and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! It’s a top vacation destination for a reason!

At this Smoky Mountain cabin, enjoy spending days cozied up in the peaceful atmosphere, spending quality time with family and friends, and soaking in the serenity of the Great Smoky Mountains. From the convenient paved driveway and the fully equipped kitchen to a soothing hot tub and inviting gas fireplace, this cabin has all you need for a fun, comfortable, and memorable stay in the Smokies.

Start your mornings with a hot cup of coffee as you chat at the table on the deck, spend afternoons planning out your day’s adventures as you unwind on the sofas flanking the fireplace, and evenings with relaxing baths in the indoor jetted tub or soothing soaks in the outdoor hot tub. You can whip up meals in the full kitchen, sit down together at the 4-person dining table for game night, toss burgers on the grill on the deck, and then fall into cozy beds at the end of the night.

On your Smoky Mountain vacation, you’ll also have a washer/dryer for longer stays and Wi-Fi so you can stay connected or visit our blog to see what events are happening during your stay (or find travel tips). And don't forget to splash around at 3 community pools in summer or play games and tennis at the clubhouses year-round through Chalet Village!

Living Room
Lazy days around the cabin are best spent in the living room, relaxing on the plush sofas, reading by the light of the black bear lamp, and chatting with family and friends about the adventures of the day. On cool mountain nights, the stone gas fireplace is perfect for a cozy evening inside. You can flip on the TV here for a relaxing day and just enjoy a slower pace of life in the mountains.

Kitchen
The charming kitchen of Bear Hugs 1126 features warm wood cabinets, recessed lighting, and light cabinets to keep the space bright. Make a pot of coffee in the morning, bake cookies or cook dinner with the oven and stovetop, reheat leftovers in the microwave, pop some bagels in the toaster, keep leftovers and meal ingredients fresh in the refrigerator, and have easy cleanup with the dishwasher in the kitchen.

Cooking in the cabin is a great way to save some extra cash for more fun attractions, but if you’re not big on cooking, there are plenty of restaurants downtown where you can grab takeout or delivery. Order some food for an easy dinner, pick up pizzas and have a game night in the cabin, or just have a place to store leftovers after a meal downtown.

After mealtime, break out the decks of cards and board games you brought along to have a fun game night at the table. You can also use this spot for crafts or cookie decorating for the kids or to just catch up on some work while you’re away.

Bedrooms
Both bedrooms in this 2-bedroom cabin will be welcome spaces after busy days playing in the Smokies! The entry level bedroom features a full size bed and its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. Fall asleep watching TV on the flatscreen here or just escape to the bedroom when you need some time to unwind and relax on your own.

In the primary bedroom in the open loft, fall asleep in a king-size bed with large windows that let in lots of natural light. Read with bedside lamps or grab a book on a sunny afternoon and stretch out on the window bench. Or you can flip on the flatscreen TV to watch a bit before drifting off to sleep. Just off the bedroom is another bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo, and jetted tub. After you’ve spent days exploring and playing at Gatlinburg attractions, come back to the bedrooms at your Gatlinburg rental to just take a breath and rest.

Outdoor Spaces
It’s time for a breath of fresh air and the serenity of the mountains! Nice outdoor spaces at this Gatlinburg cabin start with the paved driveway for easy arrivals. Then you’ll make your way to the 2 levels of decks stretching across the cabin, giving you plenty of space to enjoy nature. Have your breakfast at the table on the deck, sip coffee as you look out over the trees, and climb into the hot tub at the end of a busy (but fun) day to ease those tired muscles. The 4-person hot tub is just the ticket when you want to unwind at the end of the day.
