Vacation Rental Cleaning Checklist
While this list is by no means exhaustive, here are some of the things you can expect from our cleaning service.
- Wash all linens
- Sanitize all surfaces, including nightstands, remotes, doorknobs, etc.
- Wipe and disinfect countertops, bathroom surfaces, and kitchen backsplash, etc.
- Vacuum the living room, bedrooms, closets, and all carpeted areas
- Dust ceiling fans, coffee tables, dressers, etc.
- Replace trash bags, starter toiletries, toilet paper, etc.
- Sweep/clean up outdoor spaces
- Clean mirrors
- Wipe down refrigerator and remove any leftover food
Deep Cleans to Stay on Top
While we have a detailed cleaning process between each guest’s stay, deep cleaning is essential to keeping vacation rental properties at their best. During our deep cleans, our team will take each property through a thorough cleaning routine, running the vacuum cleaner in each nook and cranny, wiping light switches and light fixtures, cleaning faucets and sinks, wiping trim and window sills, cleaning all glass, moving furniture to make areas spotless, cleaning the coffeemaker and toaster, and so much more. Our goal is to leave each property sparkling so you have peace of mind when staying with us.
Departure Fee - What am I paying for?
Wondering what your departure fee covers? Just this - ensuring the cabin is clean after you leave. While that may seem like you’re paying to clean for the next guest, remember that the previous guest’s departure fee did the same! So your departure/cleaning fee covers the cost of hiring incredibly talented housekeepers to ensure each property is ready for a new guest - including YOU.
