Cheerfully decorated from top to bottom with Christmas décor, ‘tis the season year-round at Reindeer Bay, a 2-bedroom, 2 ½-bathroom cabin in Pigeon Forge. Tell holiday tales by the fire pit outside, whip up a mean Keurig cocoa in the fully equipped kitchen, go for a night swim in the private indoor pool – with projector and movie screen! – relax with the festive pillows on the king-size bed, and wake up to Smoky Mountain views from the private third-floor deck. Plus, this home away from home isn’t too far from downtown, giving you the full cabin experience while granting easy access to the benefits of the city, such as fantastic rides, live entertainment, fine dining, and — Christmas shops, of course!
Living Room
Perhaps the most festive room of all, the living room features a tall Christmas tree with lovely ornaments, 4 adorable stockings hanging from the fireplace (gas) mantel, holiday throw pillows on the couch (queen sleeper) and recliner, and seasonal artwork adorning the walls. Pop Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas in the DVD player and prop up your feet on one of the 2 ottomans for movie night on the flatscreen with the kids. Give reindeer-back rides to the little ones around the room and stuff the stockings with little treats found in town for a special surprise on the last morning of the trip. It’s always good to end with a bang, right?
Kitchen
Lined with loveable snowmen, jolly Santas, beautiful holly, elegant angels, inspirational words, and joyful reindeer (naturally), the fully equipped kitchen is where not only meals are made but memories are, too! Boasting a stainless-steel refrigerator, stove, over-the-range microwave, and double sink, this meal-preparing space makes everything easy with granite countertops, a serving bar for 4, and mountain views to boot. Plus, there’s even a cute little Santa by the range ready to season your dish with salt or pepper. Blend up delectable milkshakes for your friends, add cinnamon and sugar to your buttered toast, and brew a hot pot of joe with the coffeemaker or a few cups of cocoa with the Keurig — both colored red to show you the way to caffeine any time of day.
Dining Room
Head to the dining room for bountiful breakfasts, leftover lunches, and delectable dinners. Making conversation effortless (aka not having to bend over to see another face) and keeping everyone comfortable, this dining space features a round wooden table with 5 cushioned seats. Enjoy heartfelt chats, friendly laughs, delicious flavors, and Smoky Mountain views while you dine with family and friends beneath an artistic antler chandelier.
Loft | Rec Room
The loft awaits with a queen sleeper sofa, an arcade game, and more Christmas cheer!
Spend evenings with an herbal tea on the sofa while admiring the changing hues of nature through the large windows overlooking the Smokies just outside. Shaped like a barrel, the Kong Cade is made for 2, so get ready to start a cordial competition among your best buds — Donkey Kong style! For intense game players, a ceiling fan can be switched on as a cooling aid so you can keep playing for hours on end.
Rec Room
With one twist of a doorknob, Reindeer Bay greets you with sleigh bells and brings you straight into the rec room. Forget the suitcases and let the foosball tournament begin! If physical play isn’t your thing, set up a provided board game on the table with seating for 4 and show your siblings who’s boss. There’s even a mounted flatscreen TV, great for a show or playing music in the background of your Reindeer Games Championship.
Bedrooms
On the second floor just off the kitchen is the primary suite — complete with an indoor jetted tub in the en-suite bathroom. Rest easy with more than 10 pillows on the king-size bed, curl up with your love for a Hallmark Christmas classic on the flatscreen TV, take selfies with the endearing elves on headboard, and when the cabin feels too warm and cozy, simply flip on the ceiling fan.
On the third floor lies the second bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed, an en-suite bathroom, and even a private deck! Relax in the bean chair while you settle in for the latest release of your favorite show on the flatscreen TV, and a ceiling fan keeps summer nights cool. Nice as these features are, the best part about this room is waking up to early morning views of the Smoky Mountains on the private deck — nothing better.
Private Indoor Pool
Well, there is one thing that might be better than a private deck — a private indoor pool! Grab your swimsuits and get ready to take an afternoon swim or just float around on the provided swimming noodles. Let your kids splash around while you monitor them from one of the 2 benches accompanied by an end table, perfect for holding a hot beverage and a tasty snack. For convenience, there is also a half bathroom close by.
What pairs more perfectly with an indoor pool than a projector and large projection screen? That’s right; you can relax in the pool while watching the entire Harry Potter series. While movies in the pool are fun, you can also raise the projection screen for lovely views of the forested mountainside.
Outdoor Spaces
With 5 deck spaces and more, outside is where you’ll want to be at Reindeer Bay! The entry-level deck provides plenty of space for all your suitcases, making unloading the cars (paved parking for 2 with a very steep driveway) that much easier. On the second-floor front deck, unwind with a stunning view of Mt. LeConte and a gentle rock in one of the 4 rocking chairs — complete with matching end tables for your hot cocoa. Soak away your worries and cares in the outdoor hot tub on the back deck or use the second-floor side deck to bring s’more supplies to the outdoor fire pit bowl (with 3 curved benches for seating). Last but not least, enjoy one-of-a-kind views of nature on the private third-floor deck.
Other Amenities
Believe it or not, Reindeer Bay still has a few surprises left to offer. Take your family for a swim in the sun with access to the Sherwood Forest community pool. Pack light and leave plenty of room in the car for a huge haul of Smoky souvenirs by utilizing the cabin’s stackable washer and dryer. Grill up scrumptious meats and vitamin-filled veggies on the charcoal grill outside. Upload all your best trip photos or see what’s happening downtown during your stay via the high-speed wireless internet!
