Living room
The living area on the main floor is homey and inviting. Two leather couches provide plenty of seating, and there is a coffee table for drinks or board games. The centerpiece of the room is an elegant stone fireplace (electric). The large flatscreen TV is perfectly situated at an angle in the corner of the room so there is not a bad seat in the house! Play a movie on the DVD player (remember to pack your favorites) or watch TV with cable in the cabin. There is also free Wi-Fi in the cabin if you want to access your Netflix or Hulu accounts on your iPads or laptops. Gather around the fireplace on the big, plush leather couches and laugh about your ziplining adventure or your favorite part of the dinner show at the Dixie Stampede.
Kitchen
Cooking in On The Rocks is made easy and enjoyable! You’ll have ample countertop space and all the meal prep appliances you may need such as a toaster, blender, coffeemaker, and microwave. The essentials, refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven, are modern stainless steel, making this stay in the mountains a far cry from “roughing it.” Use the provided cutlery set and pots to make a delicious meal on the stove. Plus, the kitchen leads directly into the dining room, making a self-serve buffet easy for you and the family.
Dining room
On The Rocks’ dining room is perfectly positioned between the kitchen and living room for your smooth travel from preparing the meal to enjoying time and food at the dining table to relaxing on the couches. The charming wood dining room table sits in the light of an expansive window; you will only want to take your eyes away from the views momentarily to eat your meal!
Rec room
Keeping everyone entertained is always a concern of the vacation planner, and On The Rocks will make that job super easy! The upstairs area is entirely devoted to games and entertainment. Turn on the TV and play a game of pool, or get overly competitive in a rousing foosball game. The high ceilings and loft railings overlooking the living room make this a cool space to kick back in. This space also boasts easy deck access, so you get some fresh air between games.
A bathroom located here is an extra convenience and features a large jetted tub for a long, relaxing bath after hiking or exploring in the Smokies. Need some extra sleeping space? Take advantage of the sleeping loft just up the ladder, which includes 2 sleeper sofas. Kids will love the feeling of staying in a treehouse in this all-wood space at the top of the cabin.
Bedroom
On The Rocks has one very cozy bedroom with a king-size bed and private bathroom. Unpack your suitcases into the closet and dresser provided. The big windows make it easy to stare into the stars as you drift off. Nightstands with small, beautiful antler lamps give both people in the bed a place for their phone and belongings. At night, read your favorite book in the natural light from the windows or the light of the lamp as the cicadas sing outside in the trees. The private bathroom has room to spread all your toiletries and cosmetics across the spacious countertop surrounding the sink.
Outdoor spaces
You not only have a relaxing spot to enjoy your tea or coffee on the main level, but also a second deck upstairs. Both have classic cabin views, with wooded surroundings and views of Wears Valley. Sip your iced sweet tea in one of the rocking chairs on the main level porch while someone else grills up some delicious hamburgers and hotdogs on the charcoal grill. Warm up and hang out with friends in the jetted tub in the cool mountain air on the 2nd-floor deck. Sitting on the porch with a good drink in your hand is a Tennessee tradition you should definitely not skip out on with views like these.
