It’s time for the Gatlinburg Scottish Festival to start again! They will celebrate from May 15-17, 2009 at Mill’s Park. This year marks the 28th anniversary for the Scottish Games and Festivals in
Gatlinburg TN. It’s a great time to spend time with your fellow Scots and enjoy the event. Bring the whole family out, there will be something of interest to everyone. You’re welcome to attend even if you’re not Scottish!
There will be many things that reflect Scottish heritage during that weekend. You’ll find everything from border collies to bagpipes. Many Scottish clans come together to meet and great and have competitions. They compete in different areas such as athletics, bag piping, dancing, haggis hurling, and border collie demonstrations. They even have whiskey tasting and Scottish food and merchandise vendors. These is an admission fee per day, but it covers you for the whole day!
