Gatlinburg TN area and visit the Hollywood Star Cars Museum. This museum has over 30 cars on exhibit from Hollywood movies, TV, and music superstars. The cars are displayed in scenes that make them hard to forget! The displays have lights, sounds, and action! The Star Cars Museum displays cars from the famous movies over the past 50 years. Almost every year new cars are added to keep Star Cars Museum current. It features cars from the movies Gone in 60 Seconds, xXx, and The Fast and the Furious. The museum also features the Back to the Future Time Machine and The Beach Boys’ 1955 Thunderbird.
The museum also features Herbie the Love Bug and “Little Herbie“, Miami Vice Daytona Spyder, and the 1982 Porter from My Mother the Car. These cars would be very interesting to see. These cars are just a few. Among them are the Andy Griffith Squad Car, Batman Returns Studio Car, the 1959 Cadillac Ambulance from Ghostbusters, The Flintstones Flintmobile, and The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard.
Cars owned by stars include 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible owned by Bob Hope, an American comedian and actor. Others are Elvis’ Lincoln Mark IV and a Porsche Speedster owned by Michael J. Fox.
Another popular car is the truck from Twister. Jo’s is a 1982 Jeep Pickup. There were actually three trucks used to make the film, and this is the only one that’s left.
The 1969 Camaro SS Convertible driven by Drew Barrymore is also on exhibit. This car was featured in the movie Charlie’s Angels. The Camaro has been a very popular car since 1967 when it was introduced. Camaros not only interest not only Hollywood and sports car enthusiasts, but also by the world of motor sports. This completely original 1969 Camaro SS Convertible has been styled as a 1969 pace car from the Indianapolis 500.
