Located in scenic Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Gatlinburg Ziplines & Ropes Course Adventures is the most well-known treetop aerial adventure in east Tennessee. Come see for yourself why this course is the most popular among families and beginners. There is no prior experience needed to join in, and kids and adults can participate!
Allow the trained guides to assess you and your family before taking off on your Smoky Mountain adventure! All of the equipment that will be used on you and your family is state as well as industry certified. This equipment includes a full body harness and helmet. Once you are suited up, you will be transported a few blocks up the mountain by your guide. Your guides will be alongside you the whole time! The course begins by crossing the skybridge that then goes into a training line. As you soar higher and higher into the tree tops, you will have a beautiful view of Gatlinburg. You will touch down on the ground only three times during the whole tour. At one point you have to walk 30 feet, but this is only until you soar back up to the highest platform!
Do not worry if you have no prior experience! You will be with very experienced guides and they will take care of everything for you. There are no hand brakes to worry about, so all you have to do is enjoy the ride! Take a chance and experience this memorable hour-and-a-half-long journey soaring above the trees. There are nine different zip lines to try as well as a sky bridge! Self-guided tours are also available; they feature 27 elements, including a snowboard, swing, trapeze, ladders, a bridge, and a 30-foot free fall to finish it off! All of these things overlook beautiful downtown Gatlinburg, the famous Space Needle, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
