If you think this show sounds familiar, then you’d be correct, as the Lumberjack Feud was previously a famed dinner show released in 2011, catching the eye of Dolly Parton herself. After adding a few modern touches in 2015, such as special effects and impressive acrobatics, Dolly had a change of heart, eventually creating a whole new dinner show themed around a Smoky Mountain Celebration. After an entire year without lumberjack antics in the Smokies, Paula Deen seized the opportunity to bring back the Lumberjack Feud — incorporating her own Southern style into the mix. So, what does this mean for us, the ever-excited locals, hardcore fans, and newbies to the show? Simple: the wait is over, and the Lumberjack Feud is back and better than ever! Not convinced? You will be…

It’s Showtime!
Excitement will build as you enter the outdoor lumberjack arena and take your first-come, first-serve seats (arrive at least 30 minutes early to vie for the best spots in the house) in the climate-controlled grandstand. Watch as the pros take on daring feats left and right — climbing to unimaginable heights with merely a few tools and pure strength, chopping wood like there’s no tomorrow (yes, it’s as hard as it looks), throwing axes like a very dangerous feather, and logrolling with great speed, agility…and focus. Whoa, what else can we expect to see? Curiosity is a beautiful thing, but we won’t spoil the show! Alright, maybe a sneak peek won’t hurt…

While we love surprises as much as the next cabin company, we can imagine some of our guests may not share the same feelings…and that’s okay! So, what’s the big surprise? Well, the show now incorporates the audience. Yep, you may be chosen to participate in a logging event on stage with the pros — in a safe fashion, of course!
And that’s not all…this 90-minute competition even has an intermission event for the kiddos, meaning your children and grandchildren will not only enjoy the incredible performance from afar but also engage in a memorable experience they’ll treasure forever. Can you take photos of their absolute adorableness? Of course! Only video is prohibited during the show, so feel free to snap a few memories of the jolly jacks while you’re at it.
World-class Lumberjacks
With an epic Lumberjack Feud comeback comes world-class lumberjacks! You won’t want to blink an eye for fear of missing one moment of their utterly incredible performance. Showcasing the great showmanship of these strong athletes, the Lumberjack Feud stars the Dawson and McGraw families, who compete for victory with their Herculean strength, expert logging skills, and astonishing agility. On the edge of your seat is where you’ll find yourself as you ooh and ahh over their impressive skill set. After all, loggers in the Great Smoky Mountains weren’t considered invaluable for nothing once upon a time.
Meet & Greet
Interested in meeting these famed lumberjacks up close and personal? Great news! You can tell them how many times your jaw dropped, heart sank, and wows escaped at a special meet-and-greet after the show.
The Modern Grandstand
One important thing to consider when going to any show is the comfort level of the seats. While we all love a great performance, the experience can be ruined in an instant with poor seating. Honestly, it’s quite difficult to enjoy anything while constantly struggling to find comfort. And when you’re settling in for a 90-minute show, comfortable seating is essential — and Paula Deen gets it. At the Lumberjack Feud, you’ll get to witness the exceptional talent and hard-earned skills the ever-talented lumbermen have to offer from the comfort of a modern, temperature-controlled grandstand!
Rain or shine, the show must go on! With this in mind, the Lumberjack Feud has created a covered grandstand to rule them all — with padded seats to boot! From spring through December, the 350-seat grandstand provides giant overhead ceiling fans and massive heaters to keep the climate under control. Of course, the lumberjacks are more than ready to wage a friendly competition in the rain — finally, an outdoor show you can enjoy no matter the weather, be it a cool spring evening, a hot summer day, a rainy afternoon, or a chilly night!
Concession Stand & Retail Shop
Hunger isn’t an option but a probability during a 90-minute performance, so grab a few snacks and drinks while your spouse or friends hold your seats. Oh, and before you go, don’t forget to stop by the retail shop for a lumberjack souvenir!
The Lumberjack Feud Adventure Park!
Now more than an epic show, Paula Deen also opened the Lumberjack Feud Adventure alongside the outdoor arena for even more lumberjack-themed fun for family and friends! This multi-level adventure park will host an 80-foot jump tower, an extreme zipline rollercoaster, and an aerial kids’ playground. Plus, you can compete in a simulated lumberjack competition! Speed climb to the top, springboard chop as fast as you can, logroll until you can’t, and more.
