There is plenty of natural light in the main living area of this home to make you feel open and relaxed. A vaulted ceiling provides the space for extra windows, and light spills into the room from these windows and the sliding glass door that leads to the back deck. Then it meets and mingles with the dark stain of a natural wood wall, perfectly accentuating the blend of rustic modern.

A plush couch and loveseat that extend the natural feel provide every member of your group comfortable seating space as you gather around the warmth of a winter fire or the large flatscreen tv for a family movie on a hot summer night. If your harmony-with-nature retreat includes an intentional break from technology, you might prefer to set up a board game on the coffee table for family fun.

Kitchen
Connect with family and friends around the heart of the cabin – the place where meals are made – in the fully equipped kitchen of Cub Way. With an open concept floorplan, it’s easy for everyone to chat and hang out when relaxing, eating, or cooking. Open the refrigerator for a quick snack, reheat leftovers of the local cuisine that you have sampled on your trip, or even prepare a large meal, all while staying connected to your group in the main living space. Continue that connection as you gather to eat. There is also more space for guests at the breakfast bar located on the other side of the island in the kitchen.

Rec Room
If a little kid-free time is just what you need, you can encourage children to engage in a little recreation on their own. Let them carry a snack up a short flight of stairs that leads to a loft overlooking the living area below. Your children will be thrilled to spend as much time as you will allow in the loft. They can sit on the loveseat or pull up a chair as they watch their favorite movie on the flatscreen TV. When the snacks are devoured and the movie is over, they will love a friendly game of foosball. As it offers provisions for both sleep and play, the loft area fulfills a kid’s dream vacation. A bunk bed with a twin on top and a full beneath will comfortably sleep two kiddos. They won’t even have to worry about coming down for the bathroom as there is access to a half-bath here. While they are in the loft, their space still blends perfectly into yours, and you can have guilt-free time away without really even getting away.

Outdoor Spaces

Prepared on a charcoal grill and served around a cozy table for 4, a meal on the outside deck leaves your party grateful for the opportunity to share amongst themselves and with the natural world around them. While the dishwasher takes care of the dirty dishes, you can soak in the hot tub as you inhale the goodness of nature for dessert.

Cub Way is part of a greater community of cabins called Chalet Village Resort. As a guest of the cabin, you will have access to the community’s 3 clubhouses, each with unique amenities. Splash in the outdoor swimming pools, play tennis on the lighted courts, check out ping pong and foosball, play chess or checkers, and take advantage of the Wi-Fi here. There are also workout options, walking trails, and playgrounds for the kids to get out and play.
