Ole Smoky Distillery

A new addition to Gatlinburg shops will open in early July 2010. The Old Smoky Distillery will be the first legal distillery in the state of Tennessee. The mountains of Tennessee already have a reputation for their moonshine and this new store will bring the tradition to you… legally, of course. The Smoky Mountain Synchronous Fireflies event happens once a year and only in one other place on the planet, Southeast Asia. This year it will occur on June 5 and last through June 13.
