Voted the GolfDigest Best Municipal Golf Course in All 50 States, Gatlinburg Golf Course is a dream for both the seasoned pro and the beginner golfer. Immaculately manicured greens, challenging holes, modern facilities, and a fully equipped pro shop make this a great choice for teeing off. Golf course architect William Langford designed this gorgeous course that features 18 holes for a lovely day out. Bob Cupp & Associates of Atlanta renovated the course in 1993 and again in 2007, making even more improvements to this beautiful golf course. Blend the pristine course with the gorgeous Great Smoky Mountains, and you have an unmatched experience. The course is also located just 5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and just across from Dollywood. After a morning of golf, you’ll have a short drive to the other great attractions in the area.
All of the holes at the Gatlinburg Golf Course are fun and challenging, but Sky Hi (#12) is 194 yards long and drops 200 feet – one of the most dramatic drops in the country! Long Lane (#3) is 529 yards, and #17 is a 231-yard par 3 that will test even the most seasoned golfers.

For everything you’ll need for a day at the golf course, be sure to stop by the Clubhouse. You can get the newest golfing apparel, get a drink and a bite to eat – from burgers to chicken salad sandwiches – or reserve your tee time. If you didn’t travel with your own clubs, pick up what you need at the Pro Shop.

The beautifully manicured course is surrounded by the lush trees of the Great Smoky Mountains, creating a serene and beautiful retreat for a memorable day of golf. Of course, you can always just come for a relaxing day on your own as well!
Before hitting the course, stop by the pro shop to get the latest gear and apparel. They supply gear from the top golf manufacturers, so you’re sure to find what you need. You can also purchase gift certificates or choose prizes for a golf tournament.

At The Sevierville Golf Club, you’ll have the choice of 2 championship 18-hole courses, The Highlands (par 70) and The River (par 72). Once again, you’ll have the incredible Smoky Mountain scenery surrounding you at a beautifully manicured course. It’s open for golfing on a daily fee basis, but it offers the high quality of a private golf club. The Highlands winds through the Smoky Mountains and next to freshwater ponds. At The River, golf alongside the Little Pigeon River.

All rates are 50% off for ages 15 and under, so even the kids can enjoy! The Clubhouse is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and you can purchase gift certificates or get information on planning tournaments at The Sevierville Golf Club as well. Also, be sure to fill up before heading out with a nice lunch from Mulligan’s Restaurant open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

If a day on the golf course doesn’t sound like fun for the kids, don’t worry. Gatlinburg is home to several great miniature golf courses that the kids will love! Beyond that, they can play at the many area attractions, including the Alpine Slide at Ober Gatlinburg, the arcade at Fannie Farkle’s, or a Gatlinburg zip line. No matter what they’re into, you’ll likely find it in the Smokies!
