Description

Classic wood interiors, whimsical black bear details, peaceful wooded views, the amenities of home…our cozy 2-bedroom + loft Bear Cove cabin is perfectly suited for fun family vacations and weekends with friends. It offers 2 convenient bathrooms, space to sleep up to 9 guests, and amenities to keep you comfortable, relaxed, and having fun.

After you’ve spent the day playing in the Smokies — whether hiking, biking, horseback riding, shopping, or just playing at area attractions — you’ll appreciate the 2 king beds and 1 queen bed in the cabin. There is also a queen sleeper sofa for more space. The flat, paved driveway makes arrivals easier, and there are just 2 steps up into the cabin. When you step inside, you’ll have a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and a big screen TV when you want to hang out, and there are even TVs in the bedrooms.

Mealtime is easy in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy the fresh mountain air by dining al fresco at the table on the deck. Unwind on the sofas, play cards and board games at the kitchen table, soak in the outdoor hot tub, take a bath in the indoor jetted tub, sip coffee in the rocking chairs, and enjoy the serenity of the Smoky Mountains. The cabin’s also equipped with conveniences to make your stay easy, including a washer/dryer and high-speed wireless internet!

Living Room
Behold the inviting and cozy living room that’s filled with mountain charm, from the stacked stone (gas) fireplace to the little bear trinkets and motifs decorating the space. The sofas are plump and ready to keep you comfy while watching entertainment on the big screen TV or sipping morning coffee while scrolling through messages. Pile snacks and drinks on the coffee table when you want to hang out and chat with friends and family. And flip on the reading lamp when you want to enjoy a quiet read by a crackling fireplace on chilly nights.

Kitchen
Open concept and visible from the living room, the kitchen at Bear Cove is fully equipped with major appliances, cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery, and more to make prepping, cooking, and serving homemade meals at the cabin convenient. All you need to bring are fresh ingredients and drinks, along with any specialty cooking items you may need, like a crockpot or wafflemaker. Of course, you can also store leftovers from dining in town or order takeout if you wish. Either way, it’s always nice to have a full kitchen to keep everyone fed and happy.

Dining Area
Nestled between the kitchen and living room, the dining area is ideal for keeping an eye on the kids while they play and carrying on conversations with the chefs in your group while they cook. Plus, it means seconds and desserts are well within reach! This versatile space features a wooden table for 6 beneath an antler chandelier and is also great for playing board or card games from home, getting a little work done if needed, or setting up activities for the kiddos throuhgout your stay.

Bedrooms
Need a little privacy? Ready for bed? Split off into one of the 2 welcoming bedrooms — each with a flatscreen TV — or venture to the cozy loft. There’s a mix of 2 king-size beds, 1 queen-size bed, and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in the home, ideal for families and friends. But before slipping away to dreamland or reading a book before bed, why not draw yourself a nice, hot bath in the indoor jetted tub? It’s perfect for spa evenings with bubbles, flickering candlelight, and your favorite music or podcast.

Outdoor Spaces
Arriving to your semi-private cabin along paved, flat roads makes your journey that much easier. Not to mention, the driveway is also paved and flat with parking for 3, and there are only 2 steps up to the front porch, which means unpacking and reloading the vehicles will be a breeze. You’ll be greeted by rocking chairs, welcoming you to relax in cool mountain breezes with a glass of tea, lemonade, or wine.

Follow your feet to the back deck when you’re ready to enjoy a meal at the picnic table under the blue or starlight sky. Best of all, the covered portion features a steamy hot tub with massaging jets, ready to help ease tired muscles after exploring downtown entertainment or the nearby national park. And the tranquil wooded views really help your mind to unwind throughout your stay.

Other Amenities
Bear Cove provides not only relaxing amenities to enjoy but also conveniences from home that include free high speed Wi-Fi plus a washer and dryer. Tap into the Wi-Fi to stay connected with loved ones, check out the CFY blog for local fun, and do a little online shopping. There is also a new barrel-style arcade game!

If you don’t want to overload the cars, feel free to pack your suitcases lightly since there’s a washer and dryer you can use to launder clothing and towels throughout your stay. At the end of the day, it’s at least great to stay on top of laundry while away so you don’t have a mountain to wash when you get home...that’s the last thing you’ll want to do after a relaxing vacation!

Local Fun
When on vacation in Gatlinburg, TN, be sure to peel away from the cabin every now and then to enjoy the unique entertainment you’ll find downtown. Within a short drive, you’ll reach the heart of town and can choose to visit an award-winning aquarium, an aerial adventure park with incredible mountain vistas, powdery ski slopes in winter months, a year-round ice skating rink, the continent’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, a spooky haunted mansion, or a fun 2-story bar owned by Blake Shelton!

Of course, there’s always plenty of shopping and dining options to keep everyone occupied and happy. Plus, there’s an easy entrance into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can go hiking, ride horses through beautiful valleys, fly fish in sparkling rivers, bird watch for rare species, drive past historic structures in Cades Cove, and picnic with loved ones among the trees and wildlife. And Pigeon Forge is only a short drive away, giving you access to double the attractions, restaurants, and boutiques in the Smokies!
