Head to downtown Gatlinburg, under 5 miles away, to visit the iconic Space Needle or attend a one-of-a-kind show at Sweet Fanny Adams Theater!

Sky High has sleeping accommodations for up to 8 guests, along with a spacious open floor plan. With 3 comfortable bedrooms and 3 convenient bathrooms, there’s enough space for a few couples, families, or a group of friends. Bring your close friend’s bachelorette or bachelor getaway to Gatlinburg for tastings at the local wineries before returning to the cabin for games! Vacation with another family during school breaks and let the kids share adventures down the Pigeon River or play games together in the cabin.

Make cherished memories savoring every bite of a cabin-made meal around the dinner table, playing games in the living room, unwinding in the hot tub, and enjoying private baths in the indoor jetted tub, all while in full view of the majesty of the Smokies through the windows. Guests of Sky High will also have community access to 3 summer pools, clubhouses with games and fitness equipment, and lit tennis courts!

Living Room
Beautiful hardwood floors, cushy sofas, and pale blue walls set a serene atmosphere perfect for reading your book in the soft afternoon sunlight drifting in through windows. In the evenings, watch your favorite DVDs from home on the large flatscreen TV as the fireplace keeps the room cozy. Use the coffee table to set up a card game brought from home to have some budget-friendly fun during days spent in the cabin.

In the mornings, draw the blinds to enjoy gorgeous mountain views while sipping hot coffee and relaxing on the couch before a big day in downtown Gatlinburg. Take advantage of downtime in between excursions to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and exploring the treetops at Anakeesta by relaxing on the couch with some afternoon TV or a getting in a rejuvenating nap under the breeze of the ceiling fan.

Kitchen
During movie nights in the living room, enjoy easy access to the kitchen for drinks and snacks – without missing a beat. Warm cabinets and black-and-stainless-steel appliances provide what you need for in-cabin meals, from dishes and glasses and beyond. Dreading doing the dishes while on vacation? Just toss them in the dishwasher – while enjoying gorgeous mountain views! It’s easy cleanup with a view!

The kitchen also makes it easy to snag your leftovers from The Old Mill Restaurant for a quick midnight snack reheated in the microwave. Before the group leaves the cabin to explore the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, brew a fresh cup of coffee in the kitchen and relax on the deck for serene views of Mt. LeConte in the early morning sunlight.

Dining Room
Food is often at the heart of a vacation, and the dining table at Sky High gives you the perfect place to enjoy it with friends and family. Sit down at the 6-person dining table for cabin-made meals, takeout pizza, and leftovers from downtown. Laugh over your favorite moments from the show at the Comedy Barn, easily grab seconds form the nearby stove, and refill your glass of local wine before planning at your next day’s fun at the table!

For family game night, bring along your favorite board games and a deck of cards or set up a crafts station for the kiddos! And during the holidays, it’s the perfect place to decorate cookies and cupcakes to enjoy together. In the bright rays of the morning sun pouring in through the tall windows, sip on a hot cup of herbal tea from the blend you picked up at the Spice and Tea Exchange in Gatlinburg while doing your morning crossword puzzle. All while enjoying the awesome views!

Bedrooms
Spread out across 3 floors in spacious bedrooms for quiet relaxation when you are not laughing and hanging out in the cabin common areas. After a morning of shopping in downtown Gatlinburg, slide into the jetted tub of the primary suite for a soothing bath and relaxing views through the large windows looking out to the mountain skyline. Squeeze in some afternoon alone time and escape to your bedroom to read a book or fall asleep to midday TV on the flatscreen while lying in bed. Pull back the quilt covers of your king and queen-size beds for a peaceful night’s rest after long days of exploring through Cades Cove.

Rec Room
The downstairs rec room is perfect for shooting some pool and having a drink while the kids watch a movie on the living room TV upstairs or as a group between excursions! Kick back on the suede couch during cabin downtime for a quiet spot to read or watch TV. Whether you want to play or just unwind, the rec room at Sky High is a great place to hang out.

Outdoor Amenities
Right outside, through the patio doors, Mt. LeConte quietly greets you from a distance with breathtaking views. During the day, take in miles of gorgeous views while sipping on some sweet tea, lounging in the deck chairs, or relaxing in the hot tub.

Walk out to a porch off the primary suite in the mornings for peaceful moments in the soft, early light crawling over the mountains. On hot summer days, head to the community pools (some with water features) of Chalet Village Resort to soak up some sun in between cooling off in the water. Year-round, play tennis on lit courts and games in the clubhouses and stay fit with community fitness equipment.

Very Good

The views were beautiful. It was roomy enough for five adults and more if needed. The cabins for you staff were very helpful when we could not get the lock to work. That needs an upgrade. We did get to watch the bear come up the driveway. We were family from different states getting together and enjoyed our stay. The mountain road was scary and I would never stay here in the winter. Better property markings would have made it easier to find in the dark.. We didn't like the bugs in the whirlpool tub. There are many minor things that need updating but nothing that hindered our stay. Light bulbs, extra blankets in every bedroom would be nice. A tea kettle is needed.
